• Descripción y Requisitos

  Required Competencies/Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
  • Advanced level of oral and written communication in Spanish and English.
  • Extensive experience in Supply Chain Management (SCM) or related areas (Logistics, Production Control).
  • Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), internet browsing and research, and data management and analysis.
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • Experience in personnel management.
  • Advanced level of experience in supplier negotiations.
  • Proven ability to solve problems and manage emergencies (crisis management) related to the supply chain (logistics, delivery issues, cost recovery, etc.).
  • Proven ability to make independent decisions.
  • Proven ability to operate under pressure.

  
  General Functions:

  • Lead, coordinate, and maximize cost recovery negotiations. Coordinate with plants to ensure timely and appropriate supporting documentation. Coordinate with suppliers for a timely response.
  • Lead and coordinate action plans to resolve operational purchasing issues: raw material shortages, capacity problems, supplier service and response, etc. Address problems promptly and follow up until resolution.
  •  Develop strategies with the Aptiv team and key APV suppliers to proactively prevent problems: raw material shortages, capacity issues, vacation scheduling, port congestion, etc. Focus efforts on securing more than eight weeks of supply.
  • Support the Payment Solutions team, manage and resolve suspended credit situations and payment issues as needed. Manage documentation and non-compliance issues in supplier ASNs.
  •  Support Service Parts purchasing activity for all Plants.
  • Identify / Coordinate as required Material Cost Reduction savings opportunities
  • Comply with policies and procedures: 0 Non-conformities with BSI, Internal Control, EOS internal audits and clients.
