KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

MAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSABILITIES
- Ensure compliance with production processes, respecting quality, safety, and efficiency guidelines.
- Promote good health and safety practices and behaviors.
- Participate in the different phases of new product development.
- Manage daily activity planning, adherence to the production schedule, equipment repair, and inventory.
- Train and develop the knowledge of your team.
- Promote organizational objectives with your team using BRPMS tools. Apply lean manufacturing principles, for example: SMED, 5M, TPM, Poka-Yoke, 5S, OPT, Six Sigma projects, and visual workflow management.
- Ensure the team maintains the paint shop in good condition and clean.
- Optimize production downtime.
- Reduce waste and expenses in the department by implementing proper tracking.
- Report production issues to the organization.
- Meet safety metrics, including zero accidents and five OPS submissions per week.
- Participate in and/or lead Safety Gemba Walks.
- Participate in and/or lead quality problem-solving meetings.
- Meet Quality metrics (RTFT and CPU).
- Ensure rigorous execution of established processes (line balancing, tools, Andon, etc.), prevent line stoppages, and adhere to the production plan.
