Role Responsibilities Include:
The performance of our partner parcel carriers in the USA, Mexico and Canada, balancing delivery service, cost, and risks, and working closely together with the rest of the NA Logistics Regional team.
Managing key performance criteria to evaluate all logistics partners at regular intervals and ensuring that agreed upon Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.
Support regular cost management routines, including budget reviews, invoice reconciliation, and addressing any gaps/opportunities in the process.
Running Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with carrier partners, including preparation, facilitation, and post-meeting follow-up actions.
Leading the development and execution of improvement actions from within the team and with our external logistics partners.
Providing direction, management and project leadership in shipping system management initiatives that enable a more effective utilization of information and resources.
Ensuring timely responses to customer issues/ complaints.
Researching and performing root cause analyses on issues then working with the Global Shipping Software Team (FSW), Customer Service (CAR)E, Marketing, Production, Quality and Logistics teams to respond, mitigate and prevent issues from recurring.
Project leadership on shipping system initiatives that could involve leveraging AI and predictive analytics to optimize our network.
Managing internal logistics projects such as new carrier implementations or delivery solutions in partnership with other Vistaprint teams.
Support for shipping tenders, in partnership with Global Procurement team.
Partnership with Compliance and Global Trade to ensure compliance for all cross-border shipping lanes.
In return you will bring:
Post-Secondary education in Logistics, Business/Analytics, or related field of management.
5–7 years of relevant professional experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or a related field.
Bilingual - English/Spanish is required
Demonstrated experience managing logistics operations and/or external transportation partners, with accountability for service, cost, performance, and continuous improvement
Relentless drive towards quantitative understanding of factors which influence logistics service, costs, and risks.
Comfort with shipping software and experience working with data systems, analytics teams, and development of reporting enhancements to improve insights and visibility into the business.
Experience in a project environment with extensive knowledge in problem solving and working with carriers to co-create solutions.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Up-to-date knowledge on current developments in outbound logistics and eCommerce shipping best practices.
Leadership experience.
Tenacity and energy in leading change towards an effective work environment.
