  Job Summary

  We are seeking a Molding Engineer to support manufacturing operations, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and lead validation and production activities. This position will work closely with Quality, Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, and customers to ensure operational excellence, product quality, and successful project implementation.

  Responsibilities

  • Manage and support key operational metrics including Customer Complaints, CAPA, NCR, OTD Promise, OTD Request, CIP, Inventory Turns, and Voluntary Turnover.
  • Coordinate Quality, Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain activities across value streams.
  • Lead new project introductions by defining resources and validation strategies, including IQ, OQ, and PQ implementation.
  • Develop and execute validation plans for new production transfers between customers, NPI teams, and engineering groups.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  • Support production and engineering projects focused on increasing productivity and reducing downtime.
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility.
  • Ensure employee training compliance with GMP, ISO 13485, FDA, and internal procedures.
  • Manage daily production activities and manufacturing schedules.
  • Ensure smooth production operations and resource availability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and supervise manufacturing processes and production areas.
  • Reduce waste and manufacturing costs through process optimization.
  • Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions to reduce reject rates.
  • Manage raw materials and finished goods inventory.

  Qualifications

  • Advanced English proficiency is mandatory (written, verbal, and technical communication).
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant manufacturing or engineering experience.
  • Experience in plastic injection molding is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of production, quality, and process improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, GMP, ISO 13485, and FDA-regulated environments is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.
