    Master Data Analyst

    Position objective:

    Responsible for the creation, maintenance, validation, and accuracy of ERP master data, including items, customers, contracts, and related records. Works closely with Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, Finance, IT, and other functional areas to ensure accurate configuration and proper execution of master data within the ERP system.

    The position analyzes requests, validates information, follows up on pending requirements, and provides timely support to prevent operational disruptions related to master data.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Create and maintain item master data in the ERP system, ensuring accurate parameterization of required fields, attributes, and related information.
    • Configure and validate item-related data such as packaging, handling units, units of measure, and other relevant parameters to support correct operational execution.
    • Create and maintain customer master data, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout the commercial and logistics processes.
    • Maintain customer item cross-references (Customer Item ID / COFICAB Item ID) in coordination with Industrial Planning.
    • Create and maintain customer contracts in the ERP, including item assignments, cross-references, weights, pricing, and other required commercial information.
    • Coordinate with Finance to obtain and validate COMEX values and added-value components required for contract configuration.
    • Review incoming master data requests to confirm that all required information is complete and accurate before processing.
    • Follow up with requestors and functional areas to obtain missing or incomplete information and ensure timely completion of requests.
    • Perform final validation of item and contract configurations using the internal master data validation tools.
    • Review existing master data and identify configuration inconsistencies or outdated information, supporting corrective actions to improve data quality.
    • Support periodic master data and contract cleanup activities with plants and functional areas.
    • Support the Infor LN Cloud implementation, including data replication, process validation, and testing to ensure consistency between the current and Cloud environments.
    • Provide first-level support to plants and regional users regarding master data, packaging, parameterization, and configuration issues, escalating complex issues to IT or the appropriate functional area when necessary.
    • Follow established standard work instructions, validation checklists, and master data procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
    • Identify opportunities to improve master data processes, validation criteria, and data quality.
    • Prepare and maintain reports related to request volumes, cycle times, data accuracy, and master data quality.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Experience in ERP master data management, data administration, supply chain, logistics, or related functions, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience working with ERP systems and master data processes.
    • Experience creating and maintaining items, customer, or contract master data.
    • Experience with ERP implementation, migration, or rollout projects is desirable.
    • Experience in a manufacturing or automotive environment is preferred.
    • English: Advanced
    • Microsoft Excel: Advanced, including Pivot Tables, lookup/reference functions, data cleansing, and mass-load templates.
    • SQL / Power BI / Infor Reporting: Desirable
    • Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams

    • Knowledge of ERP master data structures and processes, preferably Infor LN / Baan.
    • Understanding of manufacturing and supply chain processes, including Planning, Production, Warehousing, Shipping, and Order-to-Cash.

    • Ability to document and follow standard procedures and validation controls.
