    WAREHOUSE MANAGER

    Job Summary

    Leads the strategic and tactical warehouse operations in a HMLV (High Mix, Low Volume) environment, ensuring inventory accuracy, continuity of material supply to production, and compliance with customer service levels. Responsible for process optimization, cost control, talent development, and adherence to quality, safety, and ERP system standards (Epicor), aligned with East West’s Supply Chain objectives.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Lead warehouse operational strategy aligned with Supply Chain and business objectives.
    • Ensure material availability to production, avoiding line stoppages due to shortages.
    • Maintain inventory accuracy of 98–99% through robust controls, cycle counts, and audits.
    • Lead the implementation of supermarket and Kanban systems, improving material flow, reducing inventory, and eliminating production shortages.
    • Drive and improve key KPIs:
      • On-Time Delivery (OTD)
      • Inventory Accuracy
      • Inventory Turns
      • Warehouse Productivity
    • Implement and standardize receiving, storage, picking, staging, and shipping processes.
    • Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, Kaizen) to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
    • Optimize warehouse layout and capacity utilization for efficient material flow.
    • Manage and develop the warehouse team (supervisors and operators) to ensure high performance.
    • Ensure compliance with quality standards (ISO 9001), safety, and regulatory requirements.
    • Oversee the proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment (forklifts, racking, etc.).
    • Collaborate with Planning, Procurement, and Production to balance inventory and priorities.
    • Ensure discipline and proper use of ERP systems (Epicor) for material traceability and control.
    • Manage warehouse budget and operational costs.

    Qualifications Preferred

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
    • 5–8+ years of warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment (HMLV preferred).
    • Proven leadership experience managing teams.
    • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (Epicor preferred) and inventory control.
    • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement.
    • Intermediate to advanced English.
    • Strong analytical, decision-making, and results-oriented mindset.
