Solicita: Supervisor de Aduanas (Enfoque IMMEX) - Custom Supervisor


  • Descripción y Requisitos

    Job Purpose

    Lead projects, along with internal departments and external vendors  to automate trade compliance , monitoring process , auditing , information centralization , trade automation certification , and trade transaction data accuracy to mitigate risk across all business locations. 

     

    Main Functions & Responsabilities

    1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including  finance and operation to ensure compliance with  trade requirements 
    2. Implement KPIs to measure  operation and compliance efficiency 
    3. Supervise IMMEX  monthly  to ensure compliance with Annex 24 and Annex 30 
    4. Monitors and manages regulatory changes in global customs legislation, provide updated and guidance to internal teams 
    5. Participate in the integration of the company's ERP system with the Annex 24 inventory control system to ensure a smooth and accurate flow of data 
    6. Provide support to the Manager (or ) Director of trade compliance in the execution of strategies to optimize customs and compliance process in order to reduce costs and  operational risks 
    7. Ensure legal compliance with trade laws and regulations. Including proper licensing for the entry and exit of merchandise from all business locations. 
    8. Monitors the performance of customs broker and other business partners related to trade compliance to maintain strong relationships that ensure efficient customs operations 
    9. Development and implementation of trade compliance programs  and procedures for import and export regulatory compliance for all sites 
    10. Participate in the administration of the OEA & CTPAT organization's supply chain security programs for all sites 
    11. Conduct audits to verify compliance with import and export transactions , ensuring accurate declarations and  identifying  discrepancies 
    12. Develop  and implement SOPs and instructions for standardizing processes across all sites 
    13. Implement and monitors risk mitigation plans at all sides 
    14. Assists and supports customs audits by Mexican and U.S federal authorities 

    Basic Requirements
    • Bachelors degree in International Business, Foreign Trade, Logistcs, or related
    • 3-5 years of experience in Customs, Foreign trade or trade compliance
    • Hands-on experience managing IMMEX program operations
    • Strong knowledge of annex 24 & 30
    • Conversational english
