About the Opportunity
Able
to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Assist financial manager
with the month end close process, responsible to post journal entries in
the general ledger such as accruals, prepaid expenses, and other
general accounting entries, preparing monthly accruals related to taxes
and other minor accruals, responsible for Federal Taxes Payment and
Payroll Tax and other matters as necessary. It is responsible for all
taxes payments determination and all statutory compliance reports.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related discipline.
· CPA preferred and 2-5 years of relevant experience.
· Minimum of 5-8 years’ relevant experience in General Accounting in Manufacturing Industry.
·
Significant knowledge of accounting principles, practices, methods and
techniques as well as federal accounting regulations including Generally
Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
· Significant knowledge of
· Taxes calculation (IMSS, SAR, INFONAVIT, ISR, IVA, and all statutory deliverables established by Mexico Tax Authorities)
· Knowledge of SAT regulations and NIF guidelines.
· English- 80%.

Key Responsibilities:
Support
prepares the information required to be used in the process of closing
the month and report management. Performs month-end general accounting
close for supported entities. Prepare journal entries. Includes review
of account reconciliations for all appropriate balance sheet accounts.
Reconciles and documents all accounts on general ledgers and accounting
procedures. Reviews and verifies the accuracy of journal entries and
accounting classifications assigned to various records. Interprets
company policy to ensure that all accounts are accurately reconciled.
Assists in the development of corporate financial accounting policies
and procedures. Recommends methods and procedures to improve accounting
processes. Implements and designs financial reports, accounting
processes and systems as directed. Leads special projects as appropriate
(e.g. general ledger updates, changes in accounting
procedures/systems). Calculation, payment, and accounting register of
Federal Taxes, Tax Payroll and DIOT. Complete all statutory requirement
related to Mexican tax authorities’ compliance.
Preferred Qualifications:
· SAP Knowledge and experience in an accounting CPA firm preferred
