The Senior Supply Chain Sourcing Specialist is responsible for
driving the timely procurement and availability of all required
materials to support operational demands and overall business
objectives. This role requires a proactive, analytical professional who
can balance cost, quality, delivery, and supply risk while managing
day-to-day material needs. The Specialist implements sourcing strategies
while carrying out essential operational tasks such as driving the
purchase order lifecycle, resolving critical material issues, validating
backlog accuracy, and realigning inventory to support revenue and
program performance. This highly cross-functional role plays a key part
in optimizing inventory performance, improving supply continuity,
supporting business targets, and enhancing customer on-time delivery and
overall satisfaction, while strengthening overall supply chain
efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Serve
as the primary procurement contact for assigned customer(s), ensuring
materials, components, and deliveries are aligned to meet customer
demand, delivery expectations, and revenue goals.
· Develop and
execute sourcing activities for customer-specific programs, balancing
cost, quality, delivery, and risk while supporting ongoing production
and New Product Introductions (NPI).
· Place all required
purchase orders accurately and on time by adhering to material
agreements, reviewing customer forecasts, and analyzing backlog
requirements to ensure material readiness and schedule adherence.

Actively manage supplier delivery commitments by tracking, confirming,
and updating delivery dates; communicate changes or risks to the program
team and customers as appropriate.
· Identify and qualify
alternate suppliers or components to resolve shortages, mitigate supply
disruptions, and support customer schedule adherence.
· Drive
tactical procurement activities such as expediting, supplier follow-up,
and delivery commit management to ensure timely material availability.

Develop and execute stocking strategies and right-sized inventory
levels to improve inventory turns and working capital efficiency.

Analyze and communicate program changes, including backlog movement,
inventory updates, and demand shifts, to ensure alignment across the
program team and support accurate decision-making.
· Provide
clear, concise program updates and status reporting, including defined
actions, accountable owners, and closure timelines.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
· 3+ years of procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience in a manufacturing or high-tech environment.
· Experience in material sourcing, with electronic component knowledge strongly desired.
· Extensive experience expediting materials and backlog management to support on-time delivery.
· Strong analytical skills with proficiency in systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel expertise required).
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including clear email communication and status reporting.
· Ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
