    As a Trade Compliance Supervisor here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, which is essential for the seamless flow of cross-border transactions. Your expertise will help mitigate risks and avoid penalties related to import and export violations.  

    You will report directly to our Trade Compliance Manager and you’ll work out of our Juarez, Mexico location on a Hybrid work schedule. 

    In this role, you will impact Honeywell's global operations by developing and implementing trade compliance strategies, policies, and procedures that enhance our ability to navigate complex regulations and maintain compliance. 

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • Develop and implement trade compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to import and export regulations. 

    • Manage and oversee import and export documentation, including classification, licensing, and customs documentation. 

    • Conduct internal audits and assessments to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions. 

    YOU MUST HAVE 

    • 6+ years of experience in trade compliance, preferably in a supervisory role. 

    • Strong knowledge of import and export regulations, including customs laws, export controls, and sanctions. 

    • Experience in managing trade compliance programs, including classification, licensing, and compliance audits. 

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex regulations and provide practical solutions. 

    • Experience in leading and managing a team of trade compliance professionals. 

    WE VALUE 

    • Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 

    • Minimum of 6 years of experience in trade compliance. 

    • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to ensure accurate and timely compliance. 

    • Ability to work independently and in a team, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals. 

    • Experience with trade compliance software, such as SAP GTS or Amber Road, to streamline compliance processes.
