| Position Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure accurate material handling, inventory control, and on-time support to production and customer requirements. This role ensures compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards while leading warehouse staff to achieve operational efficiency in an electronics manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, kitting, picking, packing, and shipping of electronic components and finished goods. - Ensure accurate inventory control through cycle counts, physical inventories, and system transactions. - Monitor material flow to support production schedules and prevent shortages or line stoppages. - Enforce ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) handling requirements and proper storage of sensitive electronic components. - Ensure compliance with company policies, internal procedures, and external standards (ISO, RBA, safety regulations). - Lead, train, and evaluate warehouse personnel, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and enforcing discipline when required. - Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and 5S standards. - Coordinate with Production, Planning, Purchasing, Quality, and - Engineering teams to resolve material issues. - Ensure accurate documentation and reporting within ERP/WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar). - Monitor KPIs related to inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, labor efficiency, and safety. - Investigate and resolve discrepancies, damages, shortages, and non-conformities. - Ensure safe operation of material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) and compliance with safety training requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or technical degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (preferred). - 3–5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations within the electronics or manufacturing industry. - Prior supervisory or team leadership experience. - Strong knowledge of inventory management, material control, and warehouse processes. - Experience working with ERP/WMS systems. Knowledge of ESD requirements and handling of electronic components. - Familiarity with ISO standards, safety regulations, and continuous improvement practices. - Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word). - English proficiency is a must.
