  	Eaton Corporation is looking for a mechanical design technician.  Job DeEscrituraion: He/She is responsible for the modeling, drafting, implementation, and management of the lifecycle of mechanical parts and assemblies used in electrical products for industrial and residential applications. The primary responsibility of this role is to perform product design tasks, including 3D modeling, 2D drawing, promoting engineering changes, and overseeing the product lifecycle of parts/assemblies. Receive instructions from the Design Engineer or Senior Technician in product conceptualization and design. Propose new solutions to fill design gaps in the product catalog. In this role you will: Create 3D CAD models, assemblies, and detail drawings that describe these products, in accordance with standard drawing practices (Autodesk Inventor) Create associated bill of materials and upload the data into a product lifecycle management (PLM Enovia) platform. Maintain and update the assembly and detail drawings of existing products to ensure they meet industry standards. Supervise engineering changes and the lifecycle management process. Coordinate with other designers and mechanical engineers to agree on strategies and workload distribution. Desired Skills: Bachelor’s or Technical degree in engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical or similar field). 1-2 years' experience working with 3D CAD software, modeling design. (preferably inventor SolidWorks) 1-2 years' experience working with 2D mechanical drawing reading, creation & interpretation. Analyzing technical engineering documents and specifications to understand critical requirements of design and construction. Experience in working with bills of materials, understanding BOM levels and assembly to component relationships. Experience of working with product lifecycle management platforms. Critical thinking and process of engineering changes. Knowledge of the process of engineering changes. Basic English (written and spoken)
