RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Control of Chemicals and Hazardous Waste
- Preparation of Risk Assessments (RA)
- Investigation of accidents/incidents and coordination of Emergency Response Teams and Safety & Hygiene Committees
- Conduct inspections to identify risks and monitor PPE compliance
- Control of requirements for forklifts and drivers
- Validate equipment to be used by employees and contractors prior to any high-risk work
- Coordinate EHS activities across different departments
- Approval/release of new areas and machinery
- Coordinate monthly management review meetings for EHS metrics
- Coordinate improvement projects for machinery and equipment
- Develop and deliver EHS training programs
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in Industrial, Environmental Engineering, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in EHS supervision
- Strong knowledge of legal EHS requirements
- Experience in the implementation and follow-up of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and Clean Industry programs
- Strong communication skills
- Teamwork
- Sense of urgency
- Strong coordination skills
- English proficiency (80%)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Personnel management
- Self-directed
- Location: Linares, Nuevo Leon.
