  Position Summary
  Project Management and Development
  Analysis of new materials for production start-up
  Uploading new models for the pre-launch stage for end-use production.
  Following up on engineering changes to the product or process.
  Developing improvements to components, design, reports, presentations, and plans.
  Controlling engineering changes that result in modifications to Bills of Materials (BoMs).
  Identifying unofficial changes to BoMs and negotiating with the client.
  Strong leadership, communication skills and demonstrated problem solving ability
  Lead productivity improvements by applying Lean Manufacturing techniques
  Responsible for reviewing bills of materials, patterns, drawings, and plans.
  Evidence of performance in productivity, innovation, working capital and cycle-time
  Identify and put in place permanent and effective technical / system solutions to problems
  Working closely with the BPI Team to identify and implement short and long term cost reduction and improvement initiatives.
  Engineering change log.
  Along with a strong technical background in engineering
  
  General Functions/Responsibilities
  Work Plan creation
  BOM Determination
  Development of Workstations and Material Flow
  Design all New Products, Activities and Process for new launches:
  - Constant communication with clients and suppliers.
  - Coordinating functional testing of new software with the client.
  - Prepare documentation and training
  - Pilot runs and Launch Validation
  Receiving requests for new models or engineering changes.
  Interface with other internal engineering disciplines (VSM, FMEA, Kanban, Standard Work, Visual site, etc.) to ensure a coordinated design and complete engineering deliverables
  Analysis and development for process automation
  Analysis and development of improvement proposals for the optimization of spaces and flows
  Teamwork with cross-functional teams to develop and implement practical solutions
  Drive and Deploy: Continuous Improvement, Kaizen, Green Belt projects, JDI’s.
  
  Qualifications
  Strong written and oral communications skills (bilingual English/Spanish)
  Availability and service-oriented attitude.
  Bachelor’s degree in engineering such as manufacturing, process, industrial or equivalent engineering discipline
  High knowledge on ISO-13485
  5 years minimum experiences in Process Engineering
  Reverse Logistics experience (preferable)
  Good computer skills (MS-Office and MS-Project)
  Good team player (Ability to work independently and as a team player)
  High accountability
  Financial basic knowledge
  Experience working with warranty reduction and value improvement initiatives preferred.
  Strong analytical and experimental skills
  Knowledge of continuous improvement tools; root cause analysis, 6 sigma, problem resolution teams are highly desired.
  Knowledge of reliability analysis desired
