  Position Summary
  The IT Project Engineer is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering IT infrastructure and systems projects. This role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational objectives. The IT Project Engineer provides hands on technical expertise, collaborates with cross functional teams, and supports the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of IT solutions.

  Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of IT-related projects.
  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, deliverables, and resource needs.
  • Prepare project documentation (plans, schedules, reports, risk assessments).
  • Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Track project progress and provide regular updates to management.
  • Implement and configure hardware, software, networks, and IT infrastructure solutions.
  • Assist in system upgrades, migrations, and integrations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during project execution.
  • Ensure system compatibility, performance, and security throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Work closely with business units to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance to team members and end users.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for procurement, installation, and support.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and data protection regulations.
  • Maintain project documentation according to internal quality and audit requirements.
  • Provide post implementation support for deployed systems.
  • Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements.
  • Contribute to process standardization and best practices.

  Qualifications
  Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  Experience
  • 2–5 years of experience in manufacture process, systems implementation, or project coordination.
  • Experience managing or supporting IT projects (site, manufacturing (SFC, MES, ERP, etc).
  Technical Skills
  • Support for MES, or any SFC for manufacturing, ERP, etc. 
  Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Understanding of cybersecurity best practices.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Asana).
  Soft Skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
