    About the Role

    Responsible for the strategic results of indicators for vertical integration Plastic Injection Molding Plant Operations: Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost. Introduction of new in-sourcing, outsourcing, new products, projects and initiatives along with other supporting areas within the manufacturing site as Materials, Quality, MBU. Engineering, HPS, AME, Controlling, EHHSS and others. Must apply the philosophy of HPS & Develop the Harman skills in employees.


     What You Will Do

    • Support with setting and direction for Plastic Injection Manufacturing Plant.
    • Responsible of manufacturing plant to ensure safety, quality, delivery and costs targets are achieved.
    • Identifies, communicates and drives implementation of capital investments for new products introduction and improvement projects.
    • Flawless execution of new projects and technology initiatives timely (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Costs).
    • Drive and sustain 4.0 Industry initiatives (sustainability, technology, automation, digitalization, facilities)
    • Provide leadership for employee relations through effective communications, coaching, training and development strategies.
    • Development of technical expertise and capability for Plastic Injection and secondary processes technologies.
    • Manage balancing injection molding presses and its secondary process capacity and utilization.
    • Provide leadership for problem resolution to facilitate fast improvements and improved working relationships.
    • Manage materials requirements to increase inventory turns and reduce levels in hand.
    • Development of process, procedures and engineering standards for plastic injection molding and its related secondary processes.
    • Develops and maintains multi-department and multi-site operating budgets, business initiatives.
    • Develops labor strategies that are in alignment with functional and business priorities.
    • Participates in the planning, approval, review and implementation of strategies and policies general manufacturing.
    • Formulate short-and long-term initiatives to be consistent with the strategies and policies of the business.
    • Selects, develops and motivates the company’s management talent to optimize operational performance and promotion opportunities.
    • Developed in conjunction with other executives, effective plan that maximizes profits and implement the same division to achieve these objectives, including plans for volumes, capital budget and expenditure and achieve corporate objectives.
    • Comply with quality systems and environmental management implemented in the company.
    • Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to product, process, quality system and environmental management system.
    • Ensure compliance with Company standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, ISO 45001, safety and complete and on-time delivery at the lowest possible cost.
    • Manage material requirements as inventory management, production scheduling and preventive maintenance.
    • Responsible to balance molding press and secondary operations capacity/loading.
    • Determine operations headcount needs and ensures compliance with Company policies.
    • Quality Management System.
    • Manage compliance with state and federal regulations.

    What You Need

    • +10 years of experience in injection molding operation management.
    • Demonstrated Technical background in plastic injection production processes, tooling, equipment, material, manufacturing and quality.
    • Business Acumen
    • Bachelor degree of Engineering or equivalent.
    • Computers Skills (Excel)
    • Experience in the automotive industry or electronic. (assigner years 7)
    • Knowledge of IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 14001.
    • Advance English level (reading and writing that allow fluid presentations)

    • Proficient with Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques
