  GENERAL DEEscrituraION:

  A Junior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer in Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) is an entry-level position responsible for testing, inspecting, and validating hardware components to ensure they meet quality standards and manufacturing specifications. They work closely with production, engineering, and manufacturing teams to identify, document, and help resolve defects.

  BASIC DUTIES:

  • Inspection and Testing: Perform visual inspection and functional testing of PCB sub-assemblies according to test specifications, test plans, and company standards.
  • Defect Detection & Reporting: Identify PCB defects (e.g., soldering issues, component placement errors), document failures, and report them to the QA Department.
  • Diagnostic Support: Conduct basic fault-finding on failed boards and assist in repairing or replacing faulty components.
  • Production Liaison: Collaborate with production teams and team leaders to resolve issues early in the manufacturing process.
  • Quality Standards Adherence: Ensure all processes comply with IPC or other relevant manufacturing and quality standards.
  • Document Control: Maintain accurate records of inspection results, test reports, and non-conformance reports.

  EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE EXPERIENCE AND ABILITY REQUIRED:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of electronic components, circuit functionality, and PCB manufacturing processes (SMT/TH).
  • Equipment Proficiency: Experience using test equipment such as multimeters, soldering/de-soldering tools, and Automatic Test Equipment (ATE).
  • Attention to Detail: High capability to spot small discrepancies during manual inspection.
  • Communication: Ability to work well in a team and communicate technical issues clearly.
  • Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and ISO 9001 standards.
  • Previous experience in a PCB testing or manufacturing environment.
  • English 85 +
