    Labor Relations Supervisor

    Position Summary

    The Labor Relations Supervisor is responsible for ensuring full compliance with labor regulations, internal policies, and RBA (Responsible Business Alliance) standards through continuous auditing and proactive employee?focused initiatives. This role leads labor compliance reviews, supports investigations, drives employee engagement programs, and partners closely with HR, Operations, EHS and Legal to maintain a positive, transparent, and compliant work environment.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct internal labor relations audits, including documentation reviews, policy compliance, working conditions, and adherence to RBA and Mexican labor law.
    • Prepare plants and functions for external audits (RBA, customer audits, government inspections).
    • Develop corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA) and track closure of findings.
    • Ensure recruitment practices meet age?verification and worker?documentation requirements.
    • Monitor compliance with working hours, overtime regulations, break schedules and proper attendance documentation.
    • Validate contractor compliance and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
    • Lead investigations into employee concerns, policy violations, grievances, and workplace conflicts.
    • Document cases following corporate and legal standards; recommend disciplinary or preventive measures.
    • Provide guidance to supervisors and managers on labor law, internal policy application, and workplace behavior expectations.
    • Support resolution of employee concerns in collaboration with HRBPs.
    • Design and execute engagement programs that strengthen employee experience and workplace culture.
    • Support the rollout of employee surveys, analyze results, and recommend targeted action plans.
    • Promote awareness campaigns related to ethics, compliance, fair treatment, anti?harassment, and code of conduct.
    • Lead initiatives that reinforce communication channels, feedback mechanisms, and employee recognition.
    • Ensure company labor policies are updated, communicated, and aligned with legal changes.
    • Facilitate training to leadership and employees on labor policies, workplace conduct, RBA standards, and compliance best practices.
    • Maintain updated SOPs related to labor practices and ensure consistent application across the organization.
    • Prepare monthly labor relations dashboards and compliance KPIs.
    • Track trends in audits, employee cases, grievances, and attendance/disciplinary patterns.
    • Present insights and recommendations to management for continuous improvement.


    Qualifications


    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, Law, or related field.
    • 3+ years of experience in labor relations, HR compliance, or internal audits (manufacturing environment preferred).
    • Strong knowledge of Mexican Federal Labor Law, NOM standards, and (if applicable) RBA requirements.
    • Experience managing investigations and employee-facing programs.
    • Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership skills.
    • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with high integrity.
