GENERAL DEEscrituraION:
An EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) Engineer ensures workplace compliance with safety regulations, prevents accidents, and minimizes environmental impact. They develop safety programs, conduct inspections/risk assessments, train staff, investigate incidents, and maintain compliance with local/federal laws.
BASIC DUTIES:
• Perform routine workplace safety and environmental audits
• Identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulation
• Assist in the documentation and investigation of accidents or near miss
• Help identify root causes and recommend corrective actions
• Keep records on inspections, permits, safety datasheet and training logs
• Deliver or support safety training session for employees.
• Assist with implementing emergency response procedures.
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE EXPERIENCE AND ABILITY REQUIRED:
- Able to clearly explain safety procedures and deliver training
- Capable of identifying risks, interpreting data, and documenting findings accurately.
- Works with EHS managers, operations, and external agencies.
- English 85 +
