    Position Summary

    The Sr. Manager Procurement is responsible for leading procurement strategy and execution for an assigned region or business segment, ensuring reliable supply, cost competitiveness, quality, and supplier performance in support of manufacturing and business objectives. This role provides both strategic and operational leadership for the Procurement, Logistics, and Trade Compliance organizations, including direct leadership and development of the Procurement, Logistics, and Trade Compliance teams. They also serve as a key partner to Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Engineering, and Quality.

    The role owns regional sourcing strategy, supplier relationships, procurement governance, Logistics, and Trade Compliance, while aligning with enterprise policies and broader supply chain objectives.

    Responsibilities

    Procurement Strategy & Execution

    • Develop and execute procurement and sourcing strategies aligned with business, operational, and financial objectives.
    • Translate enterprise procurement direction into effective execution across the assigned scope.
    • Identify and mitigate supply, cost, and supplier risks impacting operations.

    Supplier & Sourcing Management

    • Lead supplier selection, negotiations, and contracting for materials and services within scope.
    • Manage strategic supplier relationships to ensure performance across cost, quality, delivery, and service.
    • Drive regional supplier development initiatives to improve capability, reliability, and long-term value.

    Logistics and Trade Compliance Leadership

    • Oversee the Logistics and Trade Compliance activities within the assigned region, ensuring alignment with Procurement, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing objectives. 
    • Ensure compliance with applicable Trade regulations (e.g., IMMEX, Annex 24/30, OEA, CTPAT) in coordination with internal teams and external providers. 
    • Drive governance and performance of customs brokers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers, ensuring service reliability, compliance, and cost discipline. 
    • Partner with Operations and Finance to support efficient import/export flows, mitigate risk, and maintain cost visibility related to duties, VAT, and Logistics. 
    • Provide guidance on Logistics and Trade Compliance considerations for supplier selection, sourcing decisions, new materials, and equipment movements.

    Organization & Talent Leadership

    • Lead, develop, and coach the procurement team, including performance management, capability development, and succession planning.
    • Establish clear accountability, decision rights, and ways of working within the procurement organization.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability.

    Processes, Systems & Governance

    • Ensure procurement processes, policies, and controls are consistently applied and compliant with company standards.
    • Support effective use of procurement systems, tools, and data to enable disciplined decision-making.
    • Maintain strong governance around contracts, supplier performance, and compliance requirements.

    Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across sourcing, supplier performance, and procurement processes.
    • Partner with Supply Chain and Operations to support material availability, inventory optimization, and supply continuity.
    • Support lean initiatives and structured problem-solving to improve procurement effectiveness.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field required.
    • 8+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles, including progressive leadership responsibility.
    • Demonstrated success in sourcing strategy development, supplier negotiations, and team leadership.
    • Understanding of procurement processes, contracts, and supplier management in a manufacturing environment.
    • Strong facilitation, executive communication, and crossfunctional influencing skills within a globally decentralized organization
    • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, required.
