Solicita: Tooling Engineer


  • Descripción y Requisitos

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead Mould Concerned Activities leader in FJS
    • Conduct benchmark studies on new mould-concerned technologies and confirm their industrial feasibility through tests during the OTM process
    • Participate in the best choice of product architecture by assessing the feasibility and simplicity of each mould concerned part, considering the associated product design and manufacturing process. Finalize the mould specifications, launch mould quotations, and participate in the supplier selection for mould making and moulding from a tooling point of view
    • Ensure the mould design and fabrication conform to the mould specification, manage supplier sample submission, and confirm mould modifications.
    • Verify the feasibility, cost, and lead time for mould modification during the part verification phase. Confirm all tooling parameters, such as part weight, sprue/runner weight, machine tonnage, cycle time, etc., for part cost negotiation reference for the purchasing engineer.
    • Qualify the moulds and transfer the industrial file to plants.
    • In charge of mould maintenance, moulding capacity management, and backup mould development for tools running in FJS.

     

    Requirements:

    • A technical diploma in tooling design
    • 1 – 3 years of relevant experience in tooling production management
    • Familiar with Microsoft Office
    • Able to use CAD and UG software
    • Proficiency in English
