    Position Summary:

    1. Coordinate and Validate New molding Processes.
    2. Maintain molding process documentation, Startups sheet, Setup Sheets, Manufacturing Guidelines, SOPs, etc.
    3. Coordinate implementation of new molds and ancillary equipment
    4. Support Lean manufacturing and 5’S Initiatives
    5. Support continuous improvement efforts to improve quality and productivity and reduce operation costs (Scrap).
    6. Support the resolution of internal and external quality concerns. (NCMR, CAPA’s, etc)
    7. Support new molding products and process development
    8. Provide training on molding operations and documentation.

    Position Qualifications:

    1. Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering or related field.
    2. Effective interpersonal skills
    3. 70% verbal and written English
    4. Good analytic and problem-solving skills.
    5. Proficient with personal computers and MS Office suite
    6. Ability to interpret and analyze technical products, assembly and tooling drawings

    Knowledge:

    • Hang molds and injection molding machines
    • Trained in Scientific Injection Molding (SIM) or equivalent experience
    • Scientific troubleshooting
    • Part and molds design basics
    • Resin materials and properties

               Acknowledgement of ISO-13485, Geometric and dimensions tolerances (GDT)

    Level of Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in high volume injection molding manufacturing.
    Medical device manufacturing experience preferred.

    Level of Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing Eng, Mechatronic, Electrical or related

    Essential duties and responsibilities:

    • Validations of new molds and equipment and process molding optimization
    • Scrap reduction in the molding area
    • Reduce downtime caused by molding processes adjustment
