Solicita: Maintenance Supervisor

  The Maintenance Supervisor leads and coordinates maintenance operations to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective performance of production equipment and facilities in a high-mix, multi-process IMMEX / Shelter manufacturing environment. This role provides hands-on leadership to Maintenance Technicians while driving equipment reliability, safety compliance, and continuous improvement.

  
  Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities
  • Minimize downtime through rapid response, root cause analysis, and permanent corrective actions
  • Provide technical escalation support for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic automation issues
  • Enforce NOM-STPS, EHS, and LOTO safety standards
  • Supervise, coach, and develop Maintenance Technicians
  • Plan and prioritize work based on equipment criticality and production needs
  • Maintain accurate CMMS documentation and audit-ready maintenance records
  • Support equipment startups, changeovers, new installations, and validations
  • Manage spare parts availability, contractors, and maintenance costs
  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and EHS teams

  
  Requirements

  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing environments
  • 2+ years in a maintenance supervisory or lead role
  • Experience with assembly equipment, presses, automation, or industrial controls
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Experience with assembly equipment, presses, automation, or industrial controls
  • Experience supporting high-mix manufacturing operations
  • Working knowledge of CMMS systems and maintenance KPIs
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals
  • Experience in IMMEX / maquiladora or Shelter environments
  • Spanish required; English preferred
  • Strong sense of responsibility, urgency, and accountability
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) with assistance as required
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to work in confined spaces or on elevated platforms as required
  • Availability to occasionally work off-shift hours or weekends to support equipment failures, preventive maintenance, or installations
