Solicita: Materials Supervisor

• Descripción y Requisitos

  We are seeking a hands-on Materials Supervisor to lead warehouse and internal material flow operations within a Shelter / IMMEX manufacturing environment. This role ensures accurate material handling, inventory control, and uninterrupted production support while maintaining compliance, safety, and operational discipline.

  
  
  Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily warehouse and material handling activities supporting production and shipping
  • Ensure timely staging and delivery of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through proper ERP transactions and cycle counts
  • Enforce material identification, labeling, storage, and traceability (IMMEX compliance)
  • Monitor shortages and proactively escalate material risks
  • Ensure safe operation of forklifts and compliance with NOM-STPS and EHS standards
  • Lead, train, and manage Material Handlers and warehouse personnel
  • Coordinate closely with Production, Planning, Purchasing, Quality, and Logistics
  • Drive Lean, 5S, and material flow improvements

  Requirements

  • 2–4+ years of experience in material handling or warehouse operations in manufacturing
  • Prior leadership or lead-role experience
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems, inventory transactions, BOMs, and material flow
  • Forklift and material handling safety knowledge
  • Bilingual: English & Spanish
  • IMMEX / maquiladora experience preferred
