Solicita: Cost Accountant

• Descripción y Requisitos

  The cost accountant is responsible for developing tasks related to the registration, analysis and control of the Company’s production costs. This may include determining standard costs and establishing a control system for raw material, work in process and finished good inventory.

  Responsibilities:

  • Complete and review inventory management and month – end close responsibilities
  • Complete and review inventory accruals and balance sheet reconciliation
  • Monitoring inventory transaction and processes including scrap, inventory, and COGS to ensure accuracy and compliance with corporate policies
  • Monthly manufacturing variances including PPV
  • Execute and oversee inventory management activities including annual physical inventory
  • Execute annual cost roll up process
  • Responsible for cycle count process.
  • Fixed assets, Monitoring CIP and physical inventory of assets.
  • General accounting activities (General ledger- AP-AR)

  Education and /or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing costing methods and ERP systems
  • Proficient user in MS offices specifically excel.
