    GENERAL DEEscrituraION
    Prevention and treatment of work-related illnesses, as well as the administration and provision of primary healthcare services and outpatient medical, dental, and optometrist consultations.

    EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
    - 5 years of experience in the position.
    - Experience in occupational medicine.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND CERTIFICATIONS
    - General Medicine degree.
    - Bilingual (90%).

    MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    - Monitor the health of workers and, through pre-employment, periodic, and special examinations, identify potential causes of workplace accidents and illnesses. This, in coordination with the occupational safety department, will allow the company to establish preventive safety and hygiene measures.
    - Recommend an epidemiological program to implement measures for preventing illnesses caused by exposure to chemical, physical, biological, ergonomic, and psychosocial agents, according to the nature of the work and industrial activities performed.
    - Report and initiate investigations of incidents that occur in relation to work activities and the use of machinery, equipment, tools, and materials.
    - Submit to the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare a report of workplace hazards occurring each year.
    - Respond to forms ST7 and ST9 issued by the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) as a result of a workplace hazard claim. 
    - Determine and document for the company the information necessary to calculate the annual premium for workers' compensation insurance.
    - Provide an opinion on the origin of any work-related illness or accident detected and/or claimed by employees.
    - Communicate to the company the results of medical examinations regarding employees' fitness for work, respecting the confidentiality required by medical ethics. Assist in providing guidance and, where applicable, training on workplace risk prevention as requested by the company.
    - Ensure the availability of medications and medical supplies essential for providing timely and effective first aid.
    - Maintain records of employee medical records and present them to the relevant department upon request.
    - Implement a monitoring program to protect the health of pregnant and breastfeeding employees, as well as the health of the unborn child.
    - Conducting outpatient medical consultations for family members of employees covered by this benefit.
    - Coordinating dental care for employees.
    - Recording patient information and corresponding antibiotic therapy in the logbook.
    - Referring infectious disease cases to public health facilities based on public health protocols.
    - Supervising nursing duties.
    - Supervising the completion of patient care logs in the medical department.
    - Certifying that an employee returning from disability leave is fit to resume work.
    - Certifying that an employee is fit to resume work when there is a risk in the company.
    - Any other task or responsibility assigned by the supervisor.
    - Participating in safety-related activities.
