Title: Supply Chain Program Specialist for AID & E&O Management.
Job Summary:
The Supply Chain Program Specialist will support global Supply Chain initiatives with a primary focus on administrating the Approved Independent Distributors (AID) program and managing Excess & Obsolete (E&O) inventory across all East West Manufacturing Sites.
This role ensures smooth execution of AID sourcing activities, improves global process standardization, drives cross-site alignment, supports market intelligence activities, and provides analytical oversight to reduce supply risk, prevent counterfeit, and improve PPV and inventory performance.
The Specialist will collaborate closely with Buyers, Planners, PMs, Site leadership, and Approved Independent Distributors to enable efficient material sourcing, optimize inventory decisions, and support continuous improvement across global Supply Chain procedures and tools
Essential Duties and Responsibility:
AID (Approved Independent Distributors) Program.
In adherence to QP-0059 Global Purchasing Policy for Approved Independent Distributors & Brokers.
- § Administer and maintain the global AID program and ensure compliance with corporate policies.
- § Support qualifications, onboarding, and performance monitoring of AID suppliers.
- § Review AID quotations for accuracy, completeness, and market reasonableness (price, lead time, MOQ, risk).
- § Coordinate with Buyers to validate offers, evaluate risk, and ensure proper documentation and traceability.
- § Track and report PPV generated through AID sourcing and highlight opportunities for additional savings.
- § Ensure adherence to counterfeit-mitigation requirements, documentation controls, quality certifications, and supplier best practices.
- § Work directly with AID suppliers to resolve issues, request documentation, clarify requirements, and monitor quote turnaround time.
- § Monthly monitoring of Sites Open Orders to enforce policies and procedures.
E&O (Excess & Obsolete Inventory) Management.
In adherence to G-QP-0060 Global EO Management & Mitigation Policy.
- § Support the global E&O Mitigation Procedure by coordinating cross-site inventory visibility, communication, and tracking.
- § Use PBI reports, Z2Data and other tools to help Sites evaluate lifecycle, demand status, market value, and sell-off potential of E&O.
- § Work with PMs and Buyers to execute E&O actions: customer alignment, consignment, deposits, internal transfers, or external resale.
- § Monitor E&O reduction progress and maintain consolidated trackers to support management reporting.
- § Assist Sites in understanding MSI contract obligations and inventory exposure.
- § Provide market intelligence to support valuation and selling strategies.
Analytics, Reporting & Market Intelligence
- § Prepare weekly/monthly reports summarizing AID activity, PPV savings, E&O status, risk indicators, and improvement initiatives.
- § Analyze pricing trends, supplier performance, shortage indicators, and market signals using Z2Data, distributor quotes, and internal tools.
- § Support development of business cases and ROI analyses for global Supply Chain initiatives.
- § Cross-Site Coordination & Stakeholder Management
- § Collaborate daily with Buyers, Planners, PMs, GMs, Quality, Finance, and Corporate Supply Chain teams.
- § Provide guidance and support to Sites to ensure standardized processes and accurate execution.
- § Escalate issues that increase supply risk, financial exposure, or operational delays.
Other Responsibilities
- § Maintain strong documentation discipline and compliance with internal/external regulations.
- § Support other global Supply Chain initiatives as assigned.
