    Position Summary

    Sensience is seeking an experienced Advanced Manufacturing Engineer with a strong background in new product introductions, APQP process, stamping and injection molding processes. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of tool design, NPI/NPD methodologies, and process optimization. will be responsible for leading and executing tool design projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the highest standards of quality tool life and efficiency.


    Position Responsibilities



    Advanced Manufacturing Engineer:
    • Introduction of New products using APQP process.
    • Lead the design and development of stamping tooling, including dies, molds, jigs, and fixtures, using advanced CAD software.
    • Ensure tool designs meet engineering specifications, production requirements, and quality standards.
    • Collaborate closely with product engineer and production teams to create innovative and effective tooling solutions.
    Process Optimization:
    • Identify opportunities to improve stamping die metal manufacturing processes through continuous analysis and evaluation.
    • Develop and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize production defects while reducing tool cost.
    • Lead initiatives to enhance manufacturing capabilities, such as implementing new technologies or methodologies.
    Project Management:
    • Manage tooling projects from concept to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
    • Develop project plans, track progress, and communicate to engineer manager.
    • Work closely with suppliers and vendors to source tooling components and materials.
    Quality Assurance:
    • Establish and enforce quality control procedures for tooling design and fabrication.
    • Develop thorough inspections and testing of tooling equipment to ensure precision and performance.
    • Collaborate with quality teams to address any tooling-related quality issues and implement corrective actions.
    Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain, to ensure alignment on tooling requirements and objectives.
    • Provide technical expertise and support during design reviews, production launches, and troubleshooting efforts.

    Position Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of proven experience in NPI/NPD Using APQP Process as well in tooling design and manufacturing industry.
    • 80% of Inglish.
    • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for tooling design and development.
    • Strong knowledge of metal forming processes, stamping, progressive die, bending, and welding techniques.
    • Demonstrated experience in process optimization and implementing lean manufacturing principles.
    • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. And lunching using APQP Process.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.
    • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to analyze complex tooling issues and develop effective solutions.
    • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to tooling design and manufacturing.
