Overview
Work with shipping and receiving teams to implement, monitor, and improve processes, taking into account H&S recommendations and operational efficiency. Additionally, work with BRP's supplier network to support cost-saving projects within the company.
Align with BRP's goals and objectives. Plan and properly track investments, ensuring that OPEX, ODC, and CAPEX are under control in accordance with BRP's strategy.
Experience and Education
Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, logistics, or a related field.
2-3 years of experience in a related or similar field.
Knowledge, Skills, and Certifications
Bilingual (English, Spanish), both spoken and written.
Strong project management skills.
Experience in budget tracking.
Effective communication
Leadership skills
Proficiency in Excel, AutoCAD, SAP, Kanban, and process mapping
Solid understanding of Six Sigma skills
Strong analytical skills and innovative thinking

Knowledge of MRP, JIT systems, ISO, SPC, and SAP
Experience in purchasing, internal logistics, shipping, customs, planning, procurement, transportation, inventory control, and warehousing.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
Responsible for creating and optimizing processes in the Shipping Department. Also, meet departmental goals for PSP/DMAIC/OPS and IDEA.
Focus on continuous improvement projects to optimize processes.
Influence and ensure that the relationship within the engineering team and with the shipping and receiving team aligns with BRP's expectations. Additionally, ensure mutually beneficial relationships with other BRP departments and suppliers.
Responsible for creating, modifying, and updating yard layouts and flows for operational and project purposes.
Manage, purchase, assign, dispose of, and influence the proper maintenance and use of mobile equipment and other assets.
Perform labor, machinery, and efficiency calculations for operational and budgeting purposes.
Propose, design, and obtain budget approvals to implement cost-saving projects based on returnable packaging. Ensure the packaging fleet is complete and in good working order.
Develop budget forecasts and ensure proper monitoring. Ensure that financial OPEX, ODC, and CAPEX are under control in accordance with BRP objectives.
Perform H&S-related activities (preventive, corrective, ergonomic, etc.).
Demonstrate leadership and commitment to establishing, maintaining, and improving the Quality Management System.
Promote continuous improvement and customer focus.
Responsible for coordinating engineering changes, management information reports, and statistical data as needed.
Ensure the implementation and monitoring of BRPMS initiatives.
Participate in compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) requirements established for their role in relation to ISO 9001:2015.
Comply with the safety rules established for their role.
Complete all scheduled training related to Quality, Training, and Health & Safety on time.
Identify and report any quality and compliance issues and support corrective actions.
