Requirements and education
Industrial engineering, Electronics, Master's degree
preferably.
Experience Required: 3-5 years.
Key objectives
Ensure that product engineering personnel perform all their
activities effectively, safely, efficiently, accurately, and on time, at the
lowest possible cost.
Ensure, from a product engineering perspective, compliance
with customer specifications and all legal, regulatory, and management system
requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead the activities of the Product Engineering department.
For example, configuration and introduction of new products and part numbers,
implementation of engineering changes, etc.
- Manage the budget and resources of the Product Engineering
department.
- Lead the design, development, and improvement of systems,
processes, procedures, methods, tools, and controls to ensure that shipped
products meet all specifications.
- Promote the development of improvements in processes and
systems to make them more robust, secure, effective, efficient, and with lower
operating costs.
- Promote the design, implementation, and improvement of
process control systems and system routes to process and test units and to
record and report required data.
