Requirements and education
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or
international operations.
Master's degree in business administration
Experience Required: 5-10 years.
Key objectives
Develop the company's supply chain management strategy and
build processes to ensure the optimization/utilization of raw materials,
work-in-process inventory, and finished goods from the point of origin to the
point of consumption, developing and maintaining strong alignment between developing
and maintaining a strong alignment across the supply chain. Supply chain
organization, Business Units.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the supply chain, including purchasing,
sourcing, production planning, and inventory management activities, including
supplier negotiations and relationships, scorecards, and global supplier
management.
- Proactively provide executive engagement with the client,
ensuring aligned objectives/capabilities along with future investment planning.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to
identify and maintain the resources, skills, and tools necessary to establish
and deliver an effective supply chain to meet the current and future needs of
the company and customers.
- Analyze, project, and optimize current inventories and
related procedures; suggest improvements to increase supply chain efficiency
and company profitability.
- Develop and manage the department's budget, achieving cost
reduction objectives.
