  About the Role

  Responsible for support the results of EHSS indicators. 

  
  

  What You Will Do

  • Analyze the risks and behaviors of people, looking for the “mindset” of good safety practice.

  • Identify high-risk operations, seeking the implementation and process changes to ensure a safe working environment.

  • Develop and coordinate the implementation of EHSS strategies, in line with overall group strategy, to deliver compliance and continuous improvement.

  • Ensure compliance with EH&S legal requirements

  • Ensure strategies are holistic and address long-term environmental sustainability, workplace conditions, management systems and behaviors.

  • Champion compliance with company principles, policies and legal requirements related to EHSS (including CTPAT, ISO 45001, ISO 14001) as well as local legal requirements (Law, Safety Commission, SEMARNAT, STPS, PROFEPA)

  • Promote and engage all employees in EHSS mindset through Continues Improvement.

  • Verify that all life cycle assessment and environment-related product communication conforms to group standards.

  • Develop & implement specific tools & initiatives to increase awareness and capability in EHSS, and to achieve EHSS objectives.

  • Monitor analyses and communicate EHSS performance to improve decision-making and to integrate it into business decisions

  What You Need to Be Successful

  • Professional Degree.

  • 5 years of related experience in the automotive industry.

  • Knowledge of Government obligations regarding industrial safety, health and environmental laws and regulations.

  • Internal Auditor in ISO 14001 & ISO 45001

  • Internal Auditor in IATF 16949

  • Knowledge of OEA & CTPAT

  • English 90%, advance level (reading and writing that allow fluid presentations)

  • Computer knowledge
