Solicita: IT Support Engineer

• Descripción y Requisitos

  The IT Support Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of equipment, systems, and networks within the organization.

  Knowledge and Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Networks, or a related field.
  • Fluent in English (oral and written)
  • Proven experience: 3 to 5 years in technical support.
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems.
  • Diagnosis and repair of hardware and software issues.
  • Maintenance and repair of laser printers and Zebra devices.
  • Networking and structured cabling.
  • Support for telecommunications equipment and servers.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-specialized personnel.
  • Proactive, friendly attitude with a service orientation.
  • Teamwork skills.
  • Competency in problem-solving and root cause analysis.

  Functions and Responsibilities

  • Configuration, installation, and reinstallation of computer equipment (desktops and laptops).
  • Troubleshoot common issues such as password resets, access problems, software/hardware configurations, and basic network issues (cabling).
  • Handle and resolve requests through a ticketing system, ensuring optimal response times.
  • Support and maintenance of laser printers, copiers, and Zebra devices.
  • Assist with software installation, peripheral configuration, and general equipment maintenance.
  • Control and update software licenses.
  • Management of orders for supplies and IT equipment.
  • Proper disposal of obsolete equipment in accordance with internal policies.
  • Collaborate as backup in system administration tasks as per competencies.
  • Availability to travel to other sites when required.
  • Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
