  Key Responsibilities

  • Review and monitor outstanding Purchase Orders to ensure timely closure.

  • Drive cost-reduction initiatives through effective negotiation strategies.

  • Support and participate in supplier sourcing and evaluation activities.

  • Request, compare, and analyze supplier quotations to improve pricing and lead times.

  • Generate and manage purchase orders for raw materials, equipment, and operational supplies required by Production, Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Shipping.

  • Ensure all purchasing activities comply with applicable regulatory, customer, and internal requirements.

  • Collaborate with the Quality team to address supplier quality performance.

  • Track purchase orders from placement through receipt and resolution.

  • Proactively communicate delivery delays or issues to impacted departments.

  • Conduct supplier performance reviews within assigned commodities.

  • Verify accurate material receipt transactions within the system.

  • Ensure purchasing and inventory systems operate correctly and efficiently.

  • Contribute to savings initiatives and continuous improvement projects.

  • Participate in risk assessments that could impact business operations.

  • Assist in identifying stakeholders and understanding their expectations.
    
    
    

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.

    • At least 5 years of experience in purchasing or a related role.

    • Proficiency in English.

    • Strong professional communication skills with a collaborative and service-focused approach.

    • Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    • Flexible availability and strong responsiveness to urgent matters.
