  Position: Automation Engineer
  Wiwynn México Planta 3 (Parque Industrial Intermex Sur) 

  Job Objective

  Design, implement, program, and provide support for industrial automation systems, ensuring efficient, safe, and reliable operation of production processes, as well as continuous improvement and the integration of new technologies.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Design, program, and maintain industrial automation and control systems.

  • Program and support PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot failures in automated and control systems.

  • Participate in the commissioning and start-up of equipment, production lines, and new projects.

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Production, and Quality teams.

  • Document programs, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals.

  • Implement improvements to optimize processes, cycle times, and operational efficiency.

  • Ensure compliance with industrial safety regulations and technical standards.

  • Provide technical support to external suppliers and system integrators.

  • Train technical and operational personnel in the use of automated systems.

  Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

  • 2–5 years of experience in industrial automation (adjustable based on level).

  • Experience programming PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Keyence, Schneider, or similar).

  • Knowledge of HMI and SCADA systems.

  • Knowledge of instrumentation and sensors.

  • Knowledge or exposure to Artificial Intelligence applications.

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and control diagrams.

  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of industrial networks.

  • Availability to provide on-site support and participate in equipment start-ups.

  • Advanced or bilingual English proficiency.
