  EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or administration
  • More than 10 years’ experience within an IATF16949 automotive manufacturing environment.

  RESPONSABILITIES:

  • Ensure compliance with quality standards in automotive manufacturing processes
  • Conduct internal and external audits (IATF 16949, ISO 14001)
  • Manage corrective and preventive actions
  • Address and resolve quality issues with customers and suppliers
  • Participating with Mfg. Engineers to elaborate and review Process Flow Chart, PFMEA, APQP, Control Plan and PSO
  • Elaborate Capability studies for PPAP Process.
  • Elaborate MSA studies for PPAP process
  • Prepare PPAP packages and send it or upload it to the customers.
  • Answer and follow up to customer and supplier complaints 8D’s
  • Provide accurate information for Quality Metrics and Goals along with improvement actions on processes in charge.

  KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY:

  • Good planning, interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
  • Problem solving skills are required. Advanced tools such as Six Sigma, Shainin, Taguchi, DFSS, etc. are highly desired.
  • Fluency in English language (written and spoken) is desirable
  • Knowledge of APQP, AIAG Core Tools, and GD&T
  • Proficiency in software such as MS Office, AutoCAD, Minitab.
  • Knowledge of managing information in customer portals such as GM, Honda, Ford, Stellantis, VW, among others.
  Extensive experience in Problems resolution using tools such as 8D, Red X, Six Sigma.
