Solicita: Sr Cost Accountant

  We are seeking an experienced Senior Cost Accountant to manage and analyze manufacturing costs, driving financial efficiency and control within our operations. This key role requires strong expertise in cost accounting principles, rigorous analytical skills, and proficiency with large-scale ERP systems.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Cost Accounting Management: Oversee and execute all manufacturing cost processes, applying the absorption costing method accurately and consistently.

  • Analysis and Reporting: Manage and analyze complex production costs, including material, labor, and overhead variances. Provide detailed reporting on cost performance metrics.

  • Inventory Control: Participate in and supervise activities related to physical inventory counts and inventory control, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of inventory valuation.

  • Cost Initiatives: Support and track cost-reduction initiatives while ensuring all accounting practices comply with regulatory, safety, and quality standards.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure proper cost tracking and resource optimization across the production cycle.

  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop, review, and contribute to the preparation of cost reports, operational budgets, and financial forecasts for review by senior management.

  • Documentation: Ensure all cost accounting procedures and system documentation are current and reflective of best practices.

  Requirements

  • Experience: 8–10 years of proven experience in manufacturing cost accounting, financial analysis, or related roles is required.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field.

  • System Expertise: Proficient, hands-on experience with major ERP systems, specifically SAP.

  • Technical Knowledge: Strong, demonstrated knowledge of the absorption costing methodology is mandatory.

  • Inventory Expertise: Solid background in inventory valuation, cycle counting, and physical inventory processes.

  • Analytical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; proven strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Language: Fluent in English (Bilingual); must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
