GENERAL SUMMARY
As an active member of the BRP-Juarez 2 Management team, you will be responsible of the function of Maintenance.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanical, Mechatronic, manufacturing, and electrical career.
- A minimum of 10 years in the maquiladora and/or the automotive industry.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Proven experience as a maintenance manager or another managerial role.
- Experience in planning maintenance operations.
- Solid understanding of technical aspects such as pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, mechanics, control and electrical systems, etc.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing and test equipment.
- Ability to keep track of and report on activity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
- Knowledge of Mexican and international standards such as NOM, OSHAS, ISO-9001, ANSI, Risk management, and change management
- Strong knowledge of Project Management.
- Technical experience in metal mechanics processes and equipment, including PLC controls, pneumatics, hydraulics, metrology, and flexible assembly.
- Technical experience in hydraulic systems, automation, control, and motion.
- Strong abilities in problem-solving, risk analysis, and communication
- Ability in a multi-cultural and multi-generational environment.
- Leader that leads with strong focus on teamwork and customer service
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIES
- Develop maintenance and RAM procedures and ensure implementation
- Carry out inspections of the equipment/processes to identify and resolve issues
- Allocate workload and supervise upkeep staff
- Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary
- Monitor expenses and control the budget
- Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
- Ensure health and safety policies are complied with
- Show leadership and commitment to define, maintain, and improve our Maintenance Operations sustainability plan.
- Ensure compliance to Mexican laws, NOMs and ISO-9001 standards.
- Manage the Technical functions to minimize downtime in a Lean and One-Piece Flow environment.
- Participate in Financial Budget exercise and manage efficiently resources under his responsibility to meet our financial commitment
- Participate in compliance with the QMS (Quality Management System) determined for their role in relation to the standard ISO9001: 2015.
