  • Main function: The EHS Engineer is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of programs and systems that support excellence in environmental, health & safety and security.
  • 
    
  • Main responsibilities:
    • Management, compliance and presentation of EHS KPIs.
    • To foster a culture of proactivity, responsibility, commitment and sustainability through robust EHS programs and processes.
    • Develop and manage EHS programs, policies and procedures.
    • Responsible of government procedures at the municipal, state and federal levels, and EHS legal compliance.
    • Manage ergonomics, injury case management, and return-to-work programs.
    • Schedule EHS training, studies, and drills.
    • Internal consultant and facilitator on EHS topics and training.
    • Handling external audits.
    • Audit the facilities and assess risks for timely prevention.
    • Incident investigation, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
    • Participate in planning to incorporate new processes, machinery, and equipment, ensuring that all EHS precautions are included.

  • Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, safety, or environmental science
    • +5 years of experience in EHS within the manufacturing industry
    • Microsoft Office proficiency
    • Analytical skills for problem-solving and excellent knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
    • Effective written and oral communication skills at all levels of the organization
