  Regional PPA´s Engineer

  Position objective:

  Ensure the proper preparation, tracking, and release of PPAP packages in the cable industry, ensuring compliance with automotive quality standards and specific customer requirements. Coordinate interactions with internal departments and clients to support the launch of new projects, maintain updated documentation, and contribute to continuous process improvement to ensure reliable deliveries and customer satisfaction.

  Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in industrial, mechanical & electromechanical
  • Masters (desirable)
  • LPA process Experience
  • Experience in cable cutting processes / ultrasonic machines
  • Wire manufacturing processes and associated technologies knowledge
  • 5+ years Quality standards and system regulations (ISO) knowledge
  • MS office proficient
  • Fluent English
  • Experience working with clients as APTIV, LEAR, ECI        
  • Schedule availability
  • Availability to travel                    

  Main responsibilities:

  •  Timely administration and execution of the PPAP process and all its phases.
  •  Implementation and execution of the PPAP portal. Manage and maintain updated information, as well as      timely follow-up on new requests from the Region.
  •  Active communication with clients to follow up on Region-specific requests and requirements.
  •  Manage and execute PPAPs at all levels according to VDA 6.3 and AIAG 18-element procedures (PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, Flowcharts, etc.)
  •  Follow-up and monitoring of laboratory reports at the Region's plants (CPKs and Test Reports).
  •  Active interaction with management, as well as IP & R&D, Sales, Quality, PM, etc. departments.
  •  Support for the Region in providing training and PPAP scope functions (in specific cases), audits, etc.
  •  Execution and support for document updates (trackers, open projects, time improvements)
  •  Direct support to the Regional PPAP Department to optimize performance.
