  • Descripción y Requisitos

    The EHS Analyst is responsible for supporting and monitoring environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, technical knowledge of safety practices, and the ability to analyze risks while promoting a culture of prevention and continuous improvement across all operations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct safety inspections across production, storage, maintenance, and office areas, preparing reports and ensuring follow-up.

    • Support the monthly inspection and maintenance of emergency equipment (extinguishers, fire cabinets, PPE, stretchers, wheelchairs).

    • Monitor and verify safety conditions in stairs, racks, hallways, emergency exits, and workstations.

    • Participate in safety walkthroughs with supervisors, committees, or auditors.

    • Identify unsafe acts and conditions; assist in corrective and preventive actions.

    • Support incident/accident investigations through evidence collection, interviews, root cause analysis, and reports.

    • Assist in risk assessments (JSA/FMEA/PTW) for routine and non-routine activities.

    • Collaborate in EHS awareness campaigns (ergonomics, PPE, recycling, housekeeping).

    • Track EHS indicators such as accidents, near misses, inspections, and trainings.

    • Assist in ensuring compliance with legal and corporate EHS standards.

    • Support contractor management and EHS inductions.

    • Participate in emergency response teams and provide administrative support to the Health and Safety Committee.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s or Technical degree in Occupational Safety and Hygiene, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

    • 3–5 years of experience in Environmental, Health & Safety roles within manufacturing.

    • Knowledge of local and international safety and hygiene regulations (STPS, NOMs, NFPA, OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001).

    • Skilled in risk analysis tools (JSA, FMEA, 5 Whys, PTW).

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with ERP and EHS management systems is a plus.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.

    • Effective communication skills, teamwork orientation, and a proactive, preventive mindset.

    • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
