Data Analyst Maintenance Specialist
GENERAL SUMMARY:
We are seeking a BI Developer to work with a high-performance team and help the delivery of Analytics & Business Intelligence (BI) projects. The main mandate is to ensure that projects assigned will be delivered on time, automatizing tools to support the operations of technical services and by creating dashboards for executives towards strategic decisions to optimize costs.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate alongside a cross-functional team (Project Owners, Data engineers, BI developers, and end users), to identify needs and opportunities for improved data management and delivery
- Lead and participate in workshops/ meetings to gather requirements and make recommendations around reporting / analytics solutions.
- Play a key role in the daily support of end-users’ ability to access data and/or effectively utilize the data platform.
- Participate or lead activities that ensure redundancies for the function (documentation, validations/testing, and automations).
- Develop data models using MS Power BI while leveraging best practices in the process of technical services.
- Give recommendations related to Power BI datasets performance.
- Work in coordination with the project owners and the technical service team in an agile (Sprint) way to deliver on identified initiatives.
- Integrate new data sources by calling APIs.
- Gathering and analyzing data related to maintenance activities, equipment performance, and costs.
- Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as mean time between failures (MTBF), mean time to repair (MTTR), and maintenance costs (finances).
- Tracking and analyzing indicator of energy (electricity, water and gas)
- Developing strategies to optimizing and organizing data collection of downtime and other information of equipment and machinery.
- Creating reports and visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
- Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of maintenance data, often working with databases and data management systems.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Analytical Skills: Strong visual design skills used in creating information dense, easy to visualize reports and dashboards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data, identify trends, and develop solutions.
- Technical Skills: Computer programs to mine data sources and look for trends, willing to acquire new technologies knowledge. Experience on SAP, Good knowledge of the MS
- Power Platform suite is a must.
- Knowledge of basic concepts of energy consumptions.
- Knowledge of basic concepts of finances and budget control.
- Knowledge of DAX Studio (Recommended) Knowledge of Azure Devops Pipeline.
- Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Problem-Solving: Analyze data trends and propose solutions to create more revenue by reducing waste.
- Understanding of maintenance principles, practices, and common maintenance management systems.
- Time Management: Work on projects prioritizing and focusing on higher value tasks.
- Qualifications: Self-driven, Organized, Teamwork oriented, Analytic & Leadership skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial engineering or Business Analysis}?
- 1?-2 Years of experience design and development of reporting and business intelligence solutions.
- English written and verbal (Min: 80%).
- ERP, CMMS, BMS, Scada, etc. Systems
- Maintenances and /or automatization experience.
