JOB RESPONSABILITIES:
1. Operations Management:
• Lead and manage daily operations, focusing on planning and execution, ensuring the achievement of production targets, compliance with quality standards, and consistent delivery deadlines.
• Implement and optimize processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase overall productivity, motivating staff to understand and participate in achieving ambitious goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, customer service, engineering, supply chain, and quality assurance, to optimize processes and resolve production challenges in a stable environment.
• Maintain strong operational metrics, at or above targets, ensuring staff understand and actively participate in achieving monthly goals.
• Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization.
2. Team Leadership:• Provide strong leadership to the team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment through clear and effective communication with those who excel in promoting team development.
• Set performance expectations, coach and develop staff to maximize their potential, recognizing their successes, and leading with a hands-on approach to teaching and training.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability among employees
3. Quality Control:
• Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure products meet or exceed customer standards and expectations.
• Collaborate with the quality control team to address any product or process deviations, implementing corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
4. Safety and Compliance:• Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all current safety regulations and guidelines and promoting a zero-accident culture throughout all operations.
• Conduct regular safety audits, implement corrective measures, and promote awareness of safety best practices among all staff.
5. Inventory Planning and Management:• Develop and execute plans to meet customer demand while optimizing inventory levels, avoiding customer disruption or increasing the company's transportation costs.
6. Cost Management:• Monitor and control operating costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization.
• Collaborate closely with the finance department to develop and manage the operational budget.
7. Continuous Improvement:• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to immediately identify areas for rapid improvement and implement strategies to optimize overall operational performance.
