Solicita: HR Generalist for 2nd shift


  • Descripción y Requisitos

    Key responsibilities:

    • Provide dedicated guidance and coaching to multiple supervisors and employees with specific focus on: employee advocacy/engagement, HR fundamentals and training process, employee relations management, performance management, career development and talent assessment, acquisition and retention
    • Provide employees and supervisors with an available first point of contact for questions and guidance on fundamental HR topics and issues
      - Escalates concerns beyond their scope to HR Business Partners
      - Navigates employees and supervisors to HR Services when it is the more appropriate resource
    • Ensure that all employee relations issues are properly identified, reported & resolved
    • Provide advice and counsel to supervisors and employees to ensure consistent application and integration of policies, procedures, and practices at 100% compliance to promote an ethical and compliant work environment
    • Manage key HR processes including pre-payroll 
    • Assist with other HR special projects or initiatives as needed
    • Maintain and protect confidential data with utmost scrutiny, judgment, and care

    Qualifications:

    1. Bachelor's Degree.
    2. Minimum of 3 years of professional work experience in Labor Relations, with at least 1 year in the Human Resources function with responsibilities such as recruiting, employee development or performance management.
    3. Knowledge of local labor laws and government requirements.
    4. Communication skills.
    5. PC Skills, including expertise in Excel, Word, Outlook and/or PowerPoint
    6. Availability for 2nd shift.
    7. English skills 70% 

    Preferred Qualifications:

    1. Workday and/or TRESS systems knowledge
    2. Experience managing Union
    3. Problem solving skills; ability to assess situations make judgments based on practice or previous experience
    4. Interpersonal skills; able to exchange information and ideas effectively in a concise and logical way
    5. Enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment
    6. Approachable and responsive resource able to connect with employees at all levels
    7. Comfortable with high volume workload and able to manage multiple priorities
    8. Internal and external customer service focus, with a genuine desire to assist others
    9. Knowledge of local labor laws and government requirements
    10. Passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement 
    11. Organizational and interpersonal skills
    12. Detail-oriented (especially regarding effectively managing and documenting employee relations issues)
    13. Ability to make independent decisions, manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment
    14. Approachable and able to connect with tact and diplomacy with employees and leaders at all levels
