Profile:
A Quality Engineer profile involves monitoring KPIs, resolving customer quality issues through root cause analysis, and implementing corrective and preventive actions within a quality management system
Requirements / Experience:
• Industrial Engineering or Equivalent Experience.
• Basic GD&T knowledge
• English Level: > 85%
• Automotive Customer Quality Interface applications – Tier 1 / 2 experience preferred (i.e. FORD/GM/VOLVO/KIA).
• Ford Q1 / GM BIQ-QPR
• APQP & Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) Supplier & Customer.
• Basic GD&T knowledge
Work process accountabilities:
• Diligent In-process Continuous Improvement
• Personnel Administration – Team player, hands on.
• Supervise and develop the team in charge.
• Participate in the early stages of new launches.
• Establish the communication channel with our Customers to effectively document the process approvals.
Desired Competencies, Experience, & Qualifications:
• Communicate professionally, effectively with customers.
• Knowledge Quality Operations.
• Experience in manufacturing / automotive industry preferably.
• Leadership Skills / Team Building experience a must.
• Use formal problem solving processes to drive to root cause analysis for logistics service failures and execution of accountability for corresponding corrective actions.
• Must have interpersonal management skills, and management training.
• Must be computer literate and have a working knowledge of all aspects of production control.
• Excellent leadership and communication in dealing with customers and with fellow employees.
