Their primary duties and responsibilities for this position:
Developing and implementing supply chain strategies to improve performance and reduce costs
Overseeing the purchasing and inventory of goods based on company requirements. Efficient inventory management ensures the right quantity of goods is available at the right time, minimizing carrying costs and stockouts.
Managing relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery and compliance with terms of contracts
Coordinating with other departments such as sales, production, and finance to forecast demand or create supply plans that ensure availability of products or services
Implementing new technologies or systems to improve and streamline supply chain processes
Assessing and managing risks to supply chain operations due to potential disruptions or variances
Monitoring and adjusting supply chain activities to meet changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies
Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and ethical standards in all aspects of supply chain operations
Maintaining accurate records of supply chain activities, including tracking, measurement, reporting and analysis of performance data
Extensive knowledge in the areas of Logistics, Warehousing, Purchasing, Materials Planning and Customer Service
Ability to lead, train and mentor employees individually and as a team
The experience we’re looking for:
Bachelor's degree
5 years of experience in SCM
80% -95% of English
Experience in inventories control, personnel management, general administration.
Good Personal Management
Great written and verbal communication skills
Strong negotiation skills
