· BS/BA (Engineering discipline preferred)
· APICS or ISM certification preferred
Responsibilities:
· Manages purchase orders and conducts follow up with suppliers to ensure on time delivery of products and services.
· Develops and reports inventory outlooks and provides insight/correction as necessary to achieve established goals.
· Drives cost reductions through sourcing strategies, negotiations and logistical efficiencies.
· Reviews all invoicing discrepancies with GS and/ or Finance, corrects discrepancies as required.
· Follows the daily production schedule to determine raw material requirements. Creation of production plan.
· Works with Customs & Logistics teams to ensure compliance with all related importation and exportation policies and procedures.
· Validates MRP recommendations and optimize supply chain.
· Manages vendor performance to achieve quality and performance goals.
· Participates and supports Operational Excellence initiatives and/or projects.
· Work order management.
· Daily follow up with the operations team for production plan accomplishment
