  Title: Process Engineer

  
  

  Position Overview:

  The Process Engineer will focus primarily on improvement projects across the production facility to identify opportunities and recommend solutions to upgrade our processes. This person will work closely with the operations management team, Process Managers, Supervisors, Leads and Production Team Members to develop ideas on how to approach a specific issue.

  Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support process improvement initiatives across the production facility to enhance efficiency, safety, and product quality.

  • Analyze current production processes and identify areas for improvement using data-driven methodologies such as root cause analysis, Six Sigma, or Lean principles.

  • Collaborate with Operations Management, Process Managers, Supervisors, Leads, and Production Team Members to gather input and develop innovative solutions to process-related issues.

  • Design, test, and implement process upgrades or modifications that increase throughput, reduce waste, and improve consistency.

  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), process maps, and work instructions.

  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented changes, ensuring they meet project objectives and compliance requirements.

  • Provide technical support and training to production staff to ensure smooth implementation and sustainability of process improvements.

  • Participate in cross-functional project teams and contribute engineering expertise to broader operational initiatives.

  • Maintain a strong focus on health, safety, and environmental standards in all process design and improvement activities.

  • Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in process engineering and manufacturing optimization.
