  Shipping Leader 
  
  
  1. Generate Shippers, Invoices and ASN’s as required by procedures and customer requirements.
  2. Visiting El Paso Distribution Center as required.
  3. Load cargos according to Customer demand and shipping on time the product.
  4. Validate Load integrity and accuracy based on quantities and certifications.
  5. Post receipts of components / raw material in QAD.
  6. Corrections inside QAD for any discrepancy with receipts related to suppliers posted into QAD for Raw Material.
  7. Reporting any discrepancy with Imports and Exports in a timely manner to the shipping & receiving supervisor.
  8. Assure operation regarding security (OEA, CTPAT, BASC), 5S, risk mitigation and other activities related to the correct working processes in the department.
  9. Pilot shipments follow up in a daily basis.

  EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  3-5 years’ experience in Shipping and Receiving area in a high volume and dynamic environment. Knowledge of ERP system especially QAD is helpful. Great attention to accuracy and detail is required to successfully perform this position. Good communication skills, manage FIFO, Root cause analysis for discrepancies and people management.

  
  

  EDUCATION REQUIRED:

  College Graduate (Business Administration, Logistics or Engineering).

  ADITIONAL KNOWLEDGE:

  Logistics skills to manage dynamic crossing border operations (MX/USA).

  High Proficiency office software knowledge is required for the position.

  High attention to detail.

  High Customer Service oriented (internal &external)

  Good management of interdepartmental relationships

  Organization and management of files (physical and digital)

  Time management, sense of urgency, escalating problems in a timely manner.

  Fluid English is required. Logistics skills to manage dynamic crossing border operations.
