  Engineering Manager

  Key Responsibilities:

  1. Production Engineering:

  2. • Design, develop, and oversee the production engineering processes.
     • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and automation solutions.

  3. Project Management:

     • Manage and execute projects aimed at advancing manufacturing capabilities and introducing new products.
     • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.

  4. Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma:

     • Apply lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to improve production processes.
     • Train and mentor team members in continuous improvement techniques.

  5. Data Analysis and Reporting:

     • Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
     • Prepare and present detailed reports for senior management and stakeholders.

  6. Safety and Compliance:

     • Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with industry standards and regulations, with a strong emphasis on health and safety.
     • Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the production environment.

  Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or an MBA is a plus.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in an industrial engineering role within the automotive industry, with a focus on electric vehicles preferred.
  • Proven expertise in lean manufacturing and Six Sigma, with relevant certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt) being advantageous.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience leading complex technical projects.
  • Proficient in using engineering software and tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
